ENCANTARIA An Immersion into the Jurema Sagrada & the Waters of Iemanjá

Palm-lined beach curving below green and red cliffs on the coast of Paraíba
For five days, this coastline becomes our temple.

✮ Retreat Contribution & Registration ✮

Our gathering is intentionally intimate, with very limited spaces available, allowing us to create a meaningful experience of spiritual connection, cultural exchange, and community.

We offer two ways to experience ENCANTARIA 2027, honoring different needs while sharing the same sacred journey.

✮ Full Immersion Experience

Our complete five-day retreat includes shared accommodation in our private beachfront house, daily meals prepared by our private chef, all scheduled transportation, ceremonies, spiritual teachings, cultural visits, workshops, and artistic performances.

Choose the contribution level that feels right for you:

  • ✮ Community ExchangeUSD $2,300 ($460/day)
  • ✮ Sustaining ExchangeUSD $3,000 ($600/day)
  • ✮ Solidarity ExchangeUSD $3,500 ($700/day)

All three levels offer the same accommodation, meals, transportation, and retreat experiences. Higher contributions help sustain our gathering, support our teachers and artists, and expand community access.

✮ Immersion Only — Independent Stay

  • Immersion OnlyUSD $2,000 (USD $400 per day)

For participants who prefer to arrange their own accommodation and meals.

This option includes full access to all five days of spiritual and cultural experiences, ceremonies, teachings, visits to sacred territories, workshops, artistic performances, and scheduled group transportation.

Accommodation and meals are not included.

All participants share the same spiritual and cultural program, regardless of their contribution level.

All amounts are in USD. The retreat program runs for five days, January 22–26, 2027.

✮ Reservation & Payment

The first step is to complete the registration form.

✮ Community Solidarity

We are opening a limited number of supported places for Brazilian participants from Indigenous, Afro-Brazilian, Black, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and Santo Daime communities.

If you feel called to contribute beyond your retreat fee, you are warmly invited to make an additional donation or sponsor another participant's place.

Your generosity helps make this gathering more accessible while honoring the communities and traditions at the heart of our journey.

Different ways to participate. One community, one sacred journey, and the same Axé.

By registering for ENCANTARIA 2027, participants acknowledge the following terms, established to ensure a respectful, safe, transparent, and meaningful experience for everyone involved.

1. Registration & Payment

Participation is limited to a small group, and spaces are confirmed upon acceptance of registration and receipt of payment.

Participants may pay the full retreat contribution or secure their place with a US$500 deposit, credited toward the total amount.

The remaining balance must be paid by January 10, 2027.

Payment instructions and confirmation details will be provided directly by the organizing team.

If payment is not completed by the deadline, the organizers will contact the participant to discuss available options before any cancellation of their reservation.

2. Accommodation, Meals & Transportation

The retreat contribution includes shared accommodation in a private Airbnb residence reserved exclusively for the group, meals prepared by a dedicated private chef, and scheduled transportation throughout the immersion.

Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free meal options will be available. Participants are asked to communicate dietary restrictions and allergies in advance so that reasonable arrangements can be made. An entirely allergen-free kitchen cannot be guaranteed.

Airport transfers are included within the designated arrival and departure schedules communicated by the organizers.

Additional expenses related to early arrivals, extended stays, or independent activities are the participant's responsibility.

3. Health, Safety & Personal Responsibility

Participants are encouraged to consider their physical, emotional, and personal well-being before joining the immersion.

Some activities may involve walking on natural terrain, outdoor ceremonies, swimming opportunities, and encounters with traditional spiritual practices.

Participation in individual ceremonies and activities is voluntary. Participants may decline or withdraw from an activity without pressure or discrimination.

Any ceremonial use of traditional preparations, including Jurema wine, will be subject to applicable laws, informed consent, appropriate safety considerations, and the guidance of responsible tradition bearers. No participant is required to ingest any substance.

Participants should inform the organizing team confidentially of any accessibility needs, relevant health concerns, or circumstances requiring reasonable accommodations.

The organizers will take reasonable measures to support participant safety and respond appropriately to emergencies. Participants remain responsible for following safety instructions and making informed personal decisions.

Travel and medical insurance are strongly recommended.

4. Respect for Sacred Traditions & Community

ENCANTARIA is a respectful encounter with living Afro-Indigenous spiritual and cultural traditions.

Participants agree to honor the guidance of spiritual leaders, the privacy of local communities, the sacred nature of ceremonial spaces, and the cultural protocols established by our hosts.

Discrimination, harassment, coercion, violence, or behavior that compromises the safety and dignity of others will not be tolerated.

Photography, filming, and recording during ceremonies or visits to sacred spaces require prior permission.

The organizers may intervene when necessary to protect participants, hosts, and the integrity of the gathering, using proportionate and fair measures.

5. Program Adjustments

The organizing team reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to the schedule, activities, locations, or facilitators when necessary due to weather, safety, community needs, unforeseen circumstances, or guidance from local spiritual leaders.

Any changes will be communicated as promptly and transparently as possible.

The organizers will seek to preserve the essential character, quality, and purpose of the immersion. If a substantial change affects the core services purchased, participants will be informed of their applicable options and rights.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise. Our cancellation policy seeks to balance fairness to participants with the financial commitments required to organize an intimate retreat involving accommodation, meals, transportation, artists, spiritual leaders, and local communities.

1. Cancellation by the Participant

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to: [email protected]

The date the request is received will be used to determine the applicable cancellation conditions.

The US$500 deposit is credited toward the retreat contribution and is subject to the same cancellation and refund principles as other payments.

Refunds will be assessed according to the timing of cancellation, documented commitments already made, applicable consumer protection laws, and the possibility of filling the vacated place.

No cancellation charge will exceed what is legally permitted, and any applicable statutory cancellation rights will be respected.

2. Cancellation Due to Personal Emergencies

In cases of serious illness, family emergencies, or other exceptional circumstances, participants are encouraged to contact the organizing team as soon as possible.

Each situation will be reviewed with compassion and fairness, considering reasonable alternatives such as a partial refund, transfer of registration, or another mutually agreed solution, without limiting applicable legal rights.

3. Transfer of Registration

If a participant cannot attend, a transfer to another eligible person may be considered, subject to available arrangements, the suitability of the replacement participant, and the organizers' reasonable approval.

Any transfer conditions or unavoidable additional costs will be communicated in advance.

4. Cancellation by the Organizers

If ENCANTARIA 2027 is canceled by the organizers before it begins, participants will be entitled to a refund of the retreat payments received, subject to applicable law.

Any alternative dates or arrangements will be offered only with the participant's agreement.

The organizers are not responsible for independently purchased flights or other third-party travel expenses, except where liability is required by applicable law.

5. Force Majeure & Extraordinary Circumstances

In the event of severe weather, natural disasters, public health emergencies, government restrictions, or other extraordinary circumstances beyond reasonable control, the organizers will prioritize participant safety.

When necessary, activities may be adapted, postponed, relocated, or canceled.

Any refunds, credits, or alternative arrangements will be handled transparently and in accordance with applicable Brazilian law.

6. Early Departure or Missed Activities

Participants who choose to leave early or miss scheduled activities should notify the organizing team.

Refund requests relating to unused services will be evaluated according to the circumstances, recoverable costs, services actually provided, and applicable legal rights.

Where an activity is missed or interrupted due to an organizer-related issue, appropriate remedies will be considered.
